EMC Campaign

This is a sample of the informational brochure for the EMC. This could be used as a handout or a CD insert, as it is sized appropriately. The main idea behind using the CD-cover size is for promotional use. Previously, the EMC has raised funds by events such as brat sales. This may be appropriate for UWM fraternities, but brats really have nothing to do with electronic music. My idea was for the EMC to hand out CDs that consist of mixes made by the club's members, to more appropriately illustrate why someone should contribute to their cause, as well as providing people with entertainment through their music. As well as being appropriate, it's versatile. CDs could be handed out anywhere from EMC-sponsored events to simply renting out a table in the union and promoting it that way. This brochure could be inserted in the CD jacket sleeve behind a custom-designed CD cover for each artist. This package could also include an insert with a list of upcoming events, or any number of pertinent documents. By separating elements such as CD covers, informational brochures, and upcoming events flyers, the individual prints can be more cost effective.

I think your imagery works well with your audience and cause. The design is not genre specific, I see no lasers or robots so that's good. The color scheme is intriguing, almost dark and I get a sense of mystery when I look at the work. Your type is legible which is a huge problem in promo materials and flyers for electronic music related collateral. I think you are doing an excellent job and I'm glad to see something different. Also, you did a nice job with your logo. Though your colors are mutes and/or darker I am still able to see all of the edges of it. I like how its not one solid color, you made it work well with your images.

Love the logo... definitely makes me want to pop the CD in and listen.

The graphic elements and color work well with the "dance club/urban" feel that is associated with the music.

Only suggestion is the body of text is a little hard to read. Maybe break it into smaller paragraphs, or place a gradient box behind the text so it can be read easier while still seeing the great design in the background.
